Academic Practice

The Academic practice is committed to providing tailored search and selection services to Universities and Business Schools.

The practice combines in-depth knowledge of the UK HE Space with a global reach befitting the international nature of academic networks.

We conduct both academic and administrative assignments.

The team works closely with the Board Practice, the Senior Search Team and Public Sector Practice.  This collaboration ensures that we can search both deeply within the HE space and broadly across other sectors to access candidates beyond the reach of more traditional academic networks.

Our style is rigorous, befitting the demands of an intellectually critical community.

The Practice is headed up by Dr. Helen Yallop.  After graduating from Cambridge University and the Courtauld Institute, Helen worked at Moloney Search between 2001 and 2005 before undertaking her PhD and subsequently embarking on an academic career in History and Gerontology.  She currently holds a Visiting Research Fellowship with King’s College London.
