For a number of years this business has contracted us to find graduates with very hard to find but specific skill sets. Whilst they have a strong brand and attract high calibre applications they often need to find individuals with specific language skills and an understanding of particular countries and markets. These graduates have to be able to work both in London and abroad, so need to be flexible and culturally sensitive to the needs of these different markets.

Our Approach
We look in three separate pools; graduates from abroad who are studying in the UK, UK graduates who have spent a year abroad and graduates in the target countries who have travelled. As flexibility is important, we have found that graduates who have not spent time outside their own country do not always have the open mind that is necessary for this role.

Results
These are always difficult searches with longer timeframes than standard. Working with the organisation for a number of years has helped us both to be realistic about timing. Communication and flexibility has been key in making the process work ? and as a result we have been able to fill the positions with good candidates.
